Cruickston park has a serene charm that’s hard to find anywhere else. The Stables was tastefully decorated and the grounds are rich in history. It is beautiful. Whether you are planning a romantic getaway, girl’s night or wedding, I would highly recommend looking into this property. The hosts are lovely and very accommodating. It was a pleasure and we will be back!
Had the most amazing weekend at cruickston park; we had a fabulous meal by an incredible chef. Everyone was so hospitable, and made sure we had everything we needed. The whole team went above and beyond for our group and we will be staying there again. I cannot wait to be back. If you need an escape from the city, this is THE. Perfect place to go. We had the most incredible stay at Cruickston Park at the Stone Cottage! We had rented the cottage for a work retreat and not only is the property stunning, the bedrooms luxurious and the cottage itself inviting – the team at Cruickston were fantastic! Very responsive and so accommodating. We are already planning our next one!
This place is really amazing. They did a good job of keeping the history while restoring the properties and grounds. There was an amazing tour of the grounds and we had a delicious private dining experience with their private chef. If you are looking to escape the city life this is a great place to visit and spend a night. Thank you to the owners and staff for making this a great experience and going above and beyond.
We stayed at the stables this past summer and it was unquestionably the most beautiful guest home in Waterloo Region, and the hosts are incredibly warm, welcoming, and accommodating. The carefully placed cobblestones will guide you to the front door. Immediately you’ll notice a stunning arched doorway connecting the entrance room to the living area. The marble gas fireplace stands out as a true highlight, providing a cozy spot for post-dinner relaxation. The kitchen is a haven with a plaster range hood, a spacious island, a marble dining table, and even a comfortable lounge couch. Upstairs the vaulted ceilings are captivating. Every bed is exceptionally comfortable, and the bathrooms are spacious & classy. The backyard is private, inviting and comfortable! An added perk to our trip was discovering that they offer four other luxurious short-term rental houses on the same property, making it a perfect choice for family reunions, wedding parties, or corporate events. Don't miss out on this exceptional opportunity!
Cruickston Park was honestly incredible. We needed to plan a sudden elopement with just our parents because my mom has cancer, and from the start, they were so kind and accommodating. Brechin was amazing to work with — super responsive, patient, and really went out of her way to help us feel supported. The Stone Cottage was beautiful and felt so private and peaceful. It was the perfect setting for our intimate ceremony. Then, on a whim a week or so before, we decided to invite a few friends for a small speakeasy-style gathering in the evening, and they made it happen without hesitation. It felt like we had the entire place to ourselves in the best way. Everything about the experience felt special — from seeing goats around the property to the fireflies at night (we even had one come dance with us during our last song, which felt magical). On our last morning, we took a walk around the property and explored the gardens, which was the perfect way to end the weekend. We left feeling so grateful and full. Cruickston Park gave us exactly what we needed during a really tender time, and we’ll always remember how they held space for us to celebrate and create these memories. I can't wait to stay there again sometime in the future xo
This past summer we went to Cruickston Park and stayed at the Stables - it was the absolute perfect getaway! The owners were amazing hosts, and we loved the fresh garden-to-table meals. The house was a stunning mix of historic charm and modern design, and the animal tour and history of the property made it even more special. We stayed with our baby and best friends, and it felt like a magical escape from the city. So peaceful, beautiful, and refreshing. We can’t wait to go back!
All I have to say is WOW, this property is magical. I stayed at the Stone Cottage over the holidays and I felt like I was in Europe. Everything was so special. The host, Brechin was a bundle of joy and accommodated us to the fullest extent. I am looking forward to having my wedding here in 2026.
